Our camels race competitively all over Australia and have done for the past
8 years. We offer novelty races for large events using our quietest racing camels.

Novelty camel races include 6 camels and require 1 jockey per camel. The jockeys can be people from your local community e.g. People from local business or council representative’s this will get the whole community involved. Seats on the camels could also be raffled off to raise money for the event or a charity. To add to the excitement we suggest the riders dress up e.g. in Pyjamas or as sheiks. We can supply racing colours for the jockeys if requested.

The Race
The camels are started in a custom built starting box which ensures an even start. When the starting gun is fired the camels jump out of their starting box and run at top speed to the end of the track with the crowed lined up along the barriers cheering their favourite jockey or camel on. If you have a race caller available to you this will add to the excitement and draw in more onlookers.
We can run 5 races per day and jockeys can be different for each race.

The Race Track
As camels have soft feet they need to be run on a sand or grass track (no mud, bitumen, or sharp objects). The race track needs to be strait or half circle 200m-300m long with a 50m stopping area. The track needs to be no less than 12m across. If you do not already have a track at your venue caped pickets and bunting can be used.

We will supply the starting pens which are 3.3m long and 6.6m wide with front gates that swing out wide. These pens will be built by our staff. Steel pegs will be put in to the ground to hold them in place.
